Nelson-Jameson Foundation was pleased to award a grant to Hannah Center in August in support of their Fall Fundraiser Party at the Ranch on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
The Hannah Center opened its doors in 1993 as a women's pregnancy center. Over the past 30+ years, they have continually evolved to meet the needs of women and children facing crisis in Wisconsin. Today, they provide support through safe housing, guidance, life-skills training, counseling, recovery support, mentorship, and connections to community resources.
Their programs include:
Women's Shelter Services – safe and comfortable accommodation in both Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Kairos Care outreach – assists women who are navigating unstable or dangerous environments by offering crisis intervention, goal-driven mentorship, free classes, resource connections and material assistance.
Hannah's Caring Closet – providing essential items for babies and children to families in need.
